There was no one in the radio business like Big G. He joined CKEY in 1961 and did various shifts until his departure in 1965. He dressed the part, he acted the part and his talent was only exceeded by his wild laugh and dislike for convention.
He made a brief appearance back at 'EY in the early 70's amid stints in New York, Los Angeles and Honolulu.
He died at age 62 while host of a country oldies show in Thunder Bay in December, 1999.
